So many of these early images are inspired entirely by an urge to draw a situation tantalizingly portrayed by another (better) artist's work that I've seen. That's right : they're swipes!          (See THE GREAT COMIC BOOK HEROES by JULES FEIFFER)
I wish now that I could remember the original inspirations for some of these pics, but I'm sure you'll find
that many of my ideas came from the gallerys of REBS ART!
I've just been informed that Reb lost his battle with cancer and left us the afternoon of November 7th. Without his encouragement and support I doubt Lance Comix would exist. Goodbye, buddy, and thanks.
